Research and the Bible have a lot to say about anxiety. In this workshop you will learn about the symptoms of anxiety and how they could be affecting you at home, work, school, ministry, and in your personal life. More than that you will learn how to manage those symptoms.

How to connect with the right resources to get the help you need

You might have just started dealing with anxiety, or it might be something you’ve been feeling most of your life. In both situations, knowing where to go to get help can relieve you of symptoms you have become so used to living with. I’ll give you a few easy tips to connect with the right people to get you what you need now.

How to calm your anxious body & mind

Learn to control your body and thoughts in some of the hardest situations. In this two-part workshop you will learn three steps to begin gaining peace, clarity, and sanity in the moment you are in to reduce the frequency and intensity of your anxious symptoms.

Anxiety does not have to get in the way of you living a full life! And it won’t when you apply these techniques to your daily routine.

With guidance from an experienced mental health professional to help you with implementation, you will learn to manage your anxiety while you do all of the amazing things that God has called you to do in your family, your community, and within yourself.

A Note From Melanie...

I never want anyone else I come into contact with to have to navigate the difficult waters of anxiety by themselves because of feeling too embarrassed or the need to remain strong for others.

I am called to the person who doesn’t have a safe space to share their concerns, shame, fears, difficulties, anger, and missteps.

The one who is secretly dealing with low self-esteem, spiritual doubt and confusion, grief and loss, anxiety, and depression while serving your family, friends, businesses, and churches with a smile on your face but hurt in your heart.

As a clinical social worker and minister, I’ve always been told to hold it together and that I don’t have the luxury of taking a break and dealing with the mess under the hood. And I tried. I tried really hard until I just couldn’t anymore.

This is not how God intends for us to live. This is not the abundant living He promised us! I had to learn how to release all that stuff and get what I need and I want to help you do the same.

More about Melanie Lee, LCSW, MDiv

Melanie N. Lee is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Minister, and the owner of You Can Therapeutic Services and New Standard. She graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with her Masters Degree in Social Work in 2008 and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California in 2012.

 

Melanie also holds a Masters of Divinity with an emphasis in Biblical Studies. The understanding gained from this program has given Melanie the ability to integrate faith and mental health to assist in the overall healing of each individual.


Currently, depression, anxiety, and abortion recovery are Melanie’s areas of interest. However, she also has over eleven years experience working with other disruptive disorders, substance use in middle school aged children, and working with families to improve functioning in the home.
